Description

This project included a total renovation of the existing Administration/Pharmacy building and a 9,952 SF addition to the existing Surgery Center.  The existing Admin/Pharmacy building is a two-story, slab-on-grade metal building wrapped with masonry.  The existing surgery center was built in the mid-70s and was built into the ground with earth burms around the perimeter used as insulation.

The challenge was to design a new addition and renovation that would successfuly tie the two existing buildings together and solve problems of different floor elevations, leaking roofs, security, staff circulation, horse circulation and aesthetics.   Construction completed in 2008.
